Es directora escénica, gestora cultural y feminista egresada del Colegio de Literatura Dramática y Teatro (FFyL, UNAM). Tiene un Diplomado en Empresa social por la Universidad Iberoamericana, Diplomado en Dirección de agencias de marketing y cuenta con una certificación de Google Marketing Digital E-Commerce. Fundó Matryoshka Red Creativa en 2018 plataforma y ecosistema de creación de proyectos feministas, integrado por las iniciativas Matryoshka Compañía, Cuarto propio (agencia de comunicación), Amuleto Bazar y Mujeres Escénicas (red de creadoras mexicanas); que fue parte del programa de Piso 16 Laboratorio de iniciativas culturales, Cultura UNAM. Ha gestionado 14 y dirigido 7 proyectos escénicos. Dirige Bra de Rosa Aurora Márquez y Proyecto Hermanas, maquinaria escénica de escritura colectiva para mujeres. Obtuvo el IX Premio a la creación escénica Lech- Hellwig Gorzynski y fue Coordinadora de asesoras y particular de la Diputada Ana Francis Mor en el Congreso de la CDMX. Actualmente es parte del Comité organizador del Congreso Nacional de Teatro 2023-2024.
Stage director, cultural manager and feminist, she studied Dramatic Literature and Theater at the School of Letters and Philosophy at the Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM) and completed a Diploma in Social Enterprise at the Universidad Iberoamericana (Ibero-American University). In 2018, she founded Matryoshka Red Creativa (Matryoshka Creative Network), a platform for women to create and produce feminist performing arts projects. The network functions via an economic ecosystem of culturally focused businesses including Cuarto Propio, a communication agency and audience lab, Mujeres Escénicas a virtual space for networking between women creators, and Matryoshka Co., a theater company that creates original feminist shows. With this platform, she was selected for the Piso 16 Program, the Cultural Enterprise Laboratory at UNAM. Aguilar has developed sixteen theater projects as producer and has directed nine of them. She received the IX Lech Hellwig Goryzynski award for performing arts. In 2022, she was selected for the political education program for women of the AÚNA platform to form feminist leaders who can run for public office. She also worked at the Mexico City Congress as Consultant Coordinator for Deputy Ana Francis Mor. (2021-2023). She is currently part of the Collegiate Executive Committee which directs the Nacional Stage Directing Association (ANDE), the board at the Metropolitan Academy of Theater at Los Metro Awards and the 8th-9th Coordination Committee of the 2023 and 2024 National Congress of Theater (CONATEM).
